For students

No prior experience is required. Our courses are designed to take you from the very basics — knife skills, temperature control, foundational doughs — all the way through to professional-level techniques. Whether you've never baked before or you're a confident home cook, there is a starting point for you.

Most students progress well with 5–8 hours per week — roughly one or two focused study sessions plus practice time in the kitchen. The platform is fully on-demand, so you study at your own pace. If you want to move faster, you can. There are no deadlines.

Yes. On completion of a course or plan, you receive a Worldgate Pastry Academy certificate issued under Chef Amaury Guichon's programme. Our Platinum plan students also receive an Official Chef Jacket and priority enrolment for advanced cohorts.

Yes — the platform is fully mobile-compatible. You can watch lessons, access recipe PDFs, and participate in live sessions from any device with an internet connection.

Plus, Premium, and Platinum plan students have access to priority Q&A sessions and live interactions with our instructors. All plans include access to our community where students share work and ask questions. Platinum members also get unlimited support from elite chefs.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time and only pay the difference. If you start on Standard and want to move to Premium, we make that transition straightforward.

For parents

Yes — many of our students are aged 15–18, and the curriculum is designed to be accessible to motivated learners of all ages. The content is professional in standard but taught in a way that is clear and encouraging. Several parents enrol alongside their children, which we love to see.

The platform tracks lesson completion, and students are encouraged to photograph and share their practice work in the community. Platinum plan students receive structured assessments and direct feedback. You can also book a consultation call with our team to discuss your child's progress at any time.

The courses are structured progressively — each module builds on the previous one, with clear instructions, video demonstrations, and downloadable recipe notes. That said, younger students benefit from a parent checking in periodically, especially during kitchen practice sessions.

Most foundational techniques require equipment available in any home kitchen — a hand mixer, a digital thermometer, a kitchen scale, and basic bakeware. More advanced techniques may require specific moulds or tools, which are listed clearly at the start of each lesson. We do not expect students to purchase professional equipment.

Absolutely. Several of our graduates have gone on to work in hotel kitchens, open their own patisseries, or join professional internship programmes. We are transparent about what the pathway looks like and provide career guidance resources, especially in our Premium and Platinum plans.

Common / general

All plans are billed annually, which means you get the best value per month. The prices shown ($16.50, $75, $375 per month) are your monthly equivalent — you are charged once per year at the annual total. Contact us if you need a different arrangement.

YouTube is a great starting point. What we offer is a structured curriculum designed by professional chefs, with a clear progression from foundational to advanced techniques. You also get a community of fellow students, instructor Q&A access (on higher plans), downloadable recipe libraries, and a recognised certificate — none of which YouTube provides.

Yes — we offer free introductory lessons that give you a genuine taste of our teaching style and content quality. No credit card required. You can explore these from our homepage before making any commitment.

The Platinum plan is capped to maintain the quality of personal attention from our instructors. Live Q&As, elite chef support, and direct feedback are only meaningful when the cohort size is manageable. Contact us to check current availability.
